Bring out your Dead, Disassembled Junk

In this interesting article, How a Young Lawyer Saved the Second Amendment, we re-read this about D.C.'s "I'm not dead yet!" gun law-"... a total ban on handguns, and a requirement that shotguns and rifles be kept disassembled or locked within the home." Any pile of scrap Spacely Sprockets in a box or clutter of Cogswell Cogs in a basket could are "disassembled handguns". Good for throwing too, out or at.
"Wait! Wait! Don't shoot! I've almost got it assembled".

"No you haven't".

"There, I've finished. Just loading now...".

"No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.
